honestly i feel like hye still needs his own moment to grow and to become better if that makes sense. he’s the way that he is because of his childhood and to also mention, HE NEVER HAD A DECENT CHILDHOOD! tbh he’s still a damn child himself so him having one wasn't good at all. then he got married and now he’s playing this role that i feel like he’s not ready for as yet. yeah we see him become more softer with dojun and trying to become a better parent with byul but i feel like what just happened was him clashing his old self with his child. he knows that he’s slow in other areas besides math so seeing byul possibility following his lead, he just screamed at him. the way dojin handles it would be how another parent would handle it so i feel like hye still needs time to become mature since all these shit got put onto him
