I started re-reading this and for the historical side stories, Sung-yeon literally killed himself after Hosik died. When you read the last page of side. 15, it says that as hosik waited (in the after life), he cried at the sight of the young master…. “who came far to soon”…… I’m now realizing that it said that and what that means…. Not only does he not have the tools to be a man but he was taught how to fight as well. Now we have a man with a terrible temperament and the skills to release that anger through violence and abuse….
I agree with what you’re saying, but at the same time with everything he’s been through, you’d think he’d be a little more sympathizing with Kim Dans situation. I remember when he first saw Dan’s apartment he said “how do you live like this?!” And tried to embarrass him even though he’s lived through the same thing. But I 100% agree with what you said
Right, I think he sees his past self through dan and because of his Ego and Pride I think He despise how pathetic Dan is like He is back then when he was young so as a cope he uses that Nasty attitude, Though I think that he should be more sympathetic with his situation
