I once read a manga like this where the dog that came back to life as a person was really just a stalker pretending to be his dead dog and now I can't stop being suspicious even though I know that that isn't the case here...( ̄∇ ̄")

I've read it too and now I feel the same :D I just hope it's not a one-shot.

I remember reading that too! :D
But eah, even tho I suspected the same plot for this story, it surprised me to actually see at the end it is really the dog's spirit.
Then again, it was kinda obvious it would be like this since the dog himself narrated the beginning. Wouldn't have made much sense to do that if the story wasn't about the dog after that.

Here you go. I forgot to save it so it took me a while to find it. ( ̄∇ ̄") http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/tonari_ni_kimi_no_nukumori_wo/

Hmm, I usually don't feel that way. People can even hype stories, but it's not worth to go through the creepy, disturbing and disgusting things. So, as soon as I feel the story is gonna stick in my head for unpleasant reasons, I leave it and go off to read fluffy stuff to calm down. XD
I usually don't encounter many good stories that have (for me) creepy set-ups. I fought my way through many and came to the conclusion that my plot instincts are good and can spare me from wasting my time with certain stuff. So I can happily skip many manga in the last year or so, since the creepy or even disgusting/disturbing stuff gets more and more for some reason. I can somewhat handle Harada-esque manga...but there are people lately who outmatch even THAT level of fucked-up-ness. :'> *hopes for more slice of life and fluff manga from now on*
I think watching Simon practice his proposal just gave me diabetes. That is the single loveliest, sweetest, most heartwarming and adorable thing I have ever read and will probably ever read in my entire life. I legit almost cried. I need to get me a man like Simon :')
