I liked fl in the beginning, but she totally lost her original personality and know she is just another lady. She never tried to get stronger and use a sword again. Plus, she is always mumbling about Khalid, like wtf.. why do you want to know the reason why he killed you? He killed you for gods sake. And god the other dude is not even your real father, do something. The father is weak and just walks all over her.

Yeah I dropped this a while ago and only occasionally check in after every 10 chaps or so to see how it's playing out.
I've read spoilers on the novelupdate forums and I'm going to add it here but feel free to skip my reply if u dont want spoiled.

Khalid killed her bc he thought the empire they were fighting for was in ruins anyway and he would rather be the one to end her rather than the enemy. He was obsessed w her.
I agree w u when u said FL got weak. She is a v flawed hypocritical character who has big ideals and very little actions towards accomplishing them. She struggles a lot with her identity and what she wants to do. It's kinda frustrating seeing a strong female character become weak and helpless that way just so she can be saved by the strong galliant ML so she can fall further in love w him (ugh i hate this trope)
In the end she didn't even pursue her revenge on Khalid. Bc she believed the empire was going to be ruined with or without her getting killed (and she had some naive trust about the empire she was loyal towards) and that she was better off living her new life than getting revenge on Khalid.
But damn imagine hyping up the revenge the whole plot and not even executing it. It was just a pure waste of time. Maybe the manhwa will have change in plot just from how badly it was reviewed in the novel.

I mean I half agree...I personally still love estelle...and the fact she didn't decide to take up a sword again makes sense tbh cause her current body is much weaker than her previous one and it would look really wierd if out of nowhere she as a noble lady said she wanted to be a knight...proba also wouldn't be accepted by her father. The part I agree with u on is khalid...I swear if she forgives him I'm done...though it does make sense cause she never understood why and she was put into another body years after her death...she just knows her best friend killed her..and she feels mad but since she hasn't seen him for years and she's just put back into life she still sees him as a friend as mad as she is. This is personally one of my fav stories (Though ofcourse to each their own) I feel like she's been a consistent charecter she's just growing...being a lady doesn't make a girl weak.

The only thing that annoys me is that her friend betrayed her and she still keeps thinking about her, like girl you are talented and smart, focus on you, forget your friend.

In her defense, it’s different if a girl she met at the competition betrayed her but this is someone who’s been around since birth, the only one who stood up for her during her moments of abuse, who family took care of her when her dad was too occupied with his wife to even feed her, it’s not JUST a friend. This girl was her family, of course she would feel a bit confused and still have feelings for her.

The little boys had a paternity test done which was completely forgotten. The father saw the kid without the mask and later on didn’t recognize his on sim cause of his mask? He didn’t recognize his son’s hair and eyes? Whaaaaat? The plot is all over the place. The antagonists are weird and their response to everything is to call the fl a bitch and try to slap her. Would rate this manhua 1/10 cause I like the kids.
The translation has been so bad. I am thankful that someone has been translating, but the plot and the translation are giving me a headache. Also, fl started strong, but the fact that she doesn’t do anything against her father is starting to annoy me. What do you mean you can’t kill the dude without implicating the empress. You guys are supposed to be all powerful you know.
