I think that the manga industry is trying to innovate plots to cliche/ predictable good endings that they don't really realize that the pattern is basically the same lol (guy1 likes guy2→something will hapoened to guy2 that will not make him up for grabs in the market→guy1 gets crazy → guy2 gets raped → guy1 feels responsible and tries to get away from guy2 → guy2 realized he loves the rapist when he's gone → guy2 tries to find guy1 → happily ever after
