I have theory

Either, every 3 generations, they use the real saintess to maintain the appearance of a saintess. Like they did with Esther.
Or Esther is an illegitimate child

idk if u want me to spoil u from what i’ve read

I think maybe the grand duke(her adoptive father) wife is her mother (which makes her his child) because they look like two peas in a pod, and she related to the family were all the saints come from!

From what i’ve read esther is blondies step sister. Their father had a relationship with esther mother before blondie was born. The duke that adopted her is her uncle, her wife had a twin sister and twin sister is esther’s mother. (sorry i’m bad with names lol)

    Ooo interesting! That unexpected!
And I think the correct terminology is half sister not step sister.
Step siblings aren’t related by blood (if one parent remarried and the person they marry have a child from another relationship; they are step siblings)
while half siblings share one parent by blood

The thing about the teachers age and appearance that the translater didn't understand.

She's saying that, even though the teacher's an adult, she's acts no better than a child. Even her students act more like adults, even more so than the teacher herself. She resents her for this and can't stand the childish and cowardly way she lies about everything. Even going so far as to continue the charade in such a serious situation.

I hope this clears things up!

I think he's trying to find her guilty under Noblesse Oblige. It states that nobles should not act selfishly and take more than there means without giving back to the people(bs, but not the point). He's accusing her of taking money from the commoners by selling them luxury goods, well above there means.

He really coming in here, talking about proof so good he'll stake his throne on it, but all he got is hearsay.

"But tea isn't from there!" The owner lied and tried to pretend he was more high class than he was, so what?

"Isn't it suspicious that he got a license!" Connections? Not uncommon. Did you even check if the licenses were valid, or who approved them? NO!

Everyone complaining about tea, but I'm sick of how easy it is for her to destroy social norms. I get that the main focus is about tea(hypocritical I know), but her conflicts are too easily won.

Most of her accomplishments are more attributed to her status in society, and her husband's affections towards her, than they are her actual efforts. That's not to say she doesn't deserve this, but there should have been more opposition.

She literally convinced everyone to get rid of corsets, with no alternative. As if bras and corsets are solely attatched to societal norms and not a necessity for women to keep their boobs from flopping all over the place. (Yes I'm still salty about this)

It's big boob erasure!
