Are there any stories with mermaids/mermen/sirens anyone can recommend? Recently reread Wadatsumi no Yometori and a handful of chapters of Orenchi no Furo Jijou - I can't get enough! Any genre is fine (tragedy's not my fav, but I'll give it a shot too)!

Literally, in a recent chapter, the Wolf King is miffed that the toddler is being a cling-on but when he starts acting independent, he has a crisis thinking the boy is becoming an adult and won't need him anymore.
