Imagine a scenario with three key players:

The Real Landlord: the 30-year-old main character, whose body represents the house.
The Fake Landlord: the ghost girl, who manipulates the situation and presents herself as the rightful owner.
The Tenant: Taemin, the wealthy and unsuspecting renter who simply likes the house and believes everything is normal.

In this analogy, the fake landlord (the ghost) has successfully deceived Taemin while also preventing the real landlord from reclaiming control of her own property. The woman is effectively trapped; every attempt she makes to regain control is blocked. Even when she briefly manages to take over and tries to correct the situation, the fake landlord steps in again and makes things worse.

Taemin, on the other hand, is completely unaware of the deception. And to be clear, while he is a victim of misinformation, he is not the victim here (he is not being raped). He is simply the oblivious third party. He admires the house and continues to “pay rent,” but all of his trust and affection are being funneled toward the fake landlord, who is exploiting both him and the real owner.

Ultimately, the true victim in this situation is the 30-year-old woman. Her body is being used without her consent, and she has no meaningful way to stop it. Taemin, though involved, is not the perpetrator he is misled by the fake landlord and caught in circumstances he cannot see.

I hope this analogy makes it clearer that the 30-year-old woman is the one truly suffering, the fake landlord (the ghost) is the manipulator, and Taemin is an unwitting participant. This reflects the current state of the manhwa. Things may change as the story progresses, so it’s best to wait and see how it develops.
