Damn the art is so good it literally connects everything so well, emotionally too!!
This kind of subject could easily make us feel like they're just hypocrites, but with this great directing and art style we can actually feel for them both and understand completely why he chooses to give himself to him, it's made so well; if it was any other artist I would definitely say smth like "yeah right, a sad backstory again to make forget the horrors he had commited", yet with this directing, it's just so well done and so good that we get emotionally attached to the characters and what's happening in their life, him crying at night like that makes me want to make his smile and feel happy again, him being so vulnerable, when nobody else would've, it's genuinely so surprising and even though you don't forgive him, you could almost still feel compassion for his story and empathy for what he's gone through, he deserved better. Not now, but the him from the past didn't deserve that sadness.

I knew the prince and that f*cking informant were traitors, she never ordered or asked either of them to protect her, if anything they only harm her everyday, the only way who always defended, stood by her side and cherished her truly was and is forever Soar!
Hah, all the sh*t y'all said about Soar not listening to her and doing as he wishes to defend her reputation and protect her from harm, every other character is doing worse and even lying to her about it, Soar was honest, he never said he didn't do it, he always communicated and did what he thought was right for her, not out of jealousy like the prince or out of control like the informat, Soar does it because he respects her as a woman and as a human, he respects, admires and cares for her genuinely, he is ready to sacrifice himself for her life for it to be easy and for her to be happy, sadly he made a mistake in protecting her by doing lesser than deeds, but even then the intention behind it was always good, while the prince and informant are trying to k*ll Soar not out of a sense of justice but out of competition and a fight to get control over Thisbe, they've never cared for her! They've never listened to her truly, if they did they would leave Soar alone, he only offed the bad guys, though once again the last mission was very very bad since we all love the Saint, yes he went mad out of worry and stress, trying to shoulder everything on his own just for her happiness and for everything that was stolen from her goes back to her, that is out of admiration for Thisbe, he was out of time, anxious and made the wrong decision, thankfully he went to the prince, and tattled on himself to get his help, sure he only did it for Thisbe and not anyone else which is bad, it is. But does he deserve this horror? His actions ultimately lead to all the treasonous cult to be cut off, he even did it himself, that's the only bad deed he has every committed and thanks to Thisbe and to him not caring for his safety by going to the prince, he ended up making it into a pretty good ending, so yes, it's bad, still he regretted it now and went out of his way to apologize, he was about to admit it and pay for his sins, he did feel remorseful though kinda late, he still opened his eyes, and apologized, even went to court and was confessing. He is literally better than every character here. All of them other than the Saint kept on doing sh*t things for their own profit, harming others, never caring about it, not getting caught and always ending up happy, while the one who did it to defend his beloved's honor is getting dragged through the mud even though he confessed, felt remorseful and went out of his way to correct his wrongs by protecting the temple and offing those criminals. He did well, way more than the others.

I still like Soar. He did his best in his own way for her and he only harmed bad guys. Though the Saint was sadly a victim, he was convinced that it would be for Thisbe's happiness, while that guild leader would've offered her with no remorse even without knowing her. Just as he did in her previous life, the prince as well, he thinks of her as an object, even her own grandpa only started liking her now, the only one who had been genuine from the start was Soar, and we can't even say he's bad for everything he's done, since the others guys did way worse and all of it to innocents, it would be hypocritical, if anything Soar is the least evil one of them, he's the only good guy to me and idc about anything else, the others are trash and they have always been, they allowed for Thisbe to be abused her whole life by everyone and by them too. Guild leader is only there for the saint who's his cousin. Prince is only there cause she's useful. Soar is there cause he loves, cherishes her and respect her, it's vastly different and I love him for that, and I hate them for that too, he also put himself in danger to ask the prince for help in saving her, nobody would have ever done that for her ever again and she will never find a human willing to go so far even in the worst ways for you, ofc it's best if he only does good, but the good he's done outweighs the bad he's done. Most of the bad guys are gone thanks to him, I mean if you learnt that somebody was out there offing p€d0s and other c*imi*als, you would be happy too, someone throwing the trash in your stead and making the world a better place through only leaving the good ones. (I would rather that than more kids getting abused and horribly traumatized.)
