I still feel bad for the child...like, Anakin is an adult, it is horrible enough for him, to make him do that...sigh, but that poor little kid, how old are they anyway? 7? 8? Maybe even 5?? Why??? I think...the normal response is for people to want their love ones to live but, in Eris's case, she knows she lives in a fantasy world with witches and dragons, and the witch said she could return. Someone as desperate as her needs hope in order to do her best, and I think rather than certainty, she just wanted to believe in something.
