I understand that hestia is taking revenge for kaelus but I really hope she leaves Helios because in my pov Diana became Corrupt and wronged her in her previous life. Helios didn’t. Helios chose Diana and was selfish leaving his best friend to self destruct. He did nothing to hestia. Even if kaelus is her favourite character in the first life she was no one to him. And she chose to enact revenge on his part for their mistreatment, I personally believe that Helios has changed and does feel sincerely apologetic. So I hope she doesn’t get too dissolved in avenging someone who in the previous life, when everything happened. Didn’t even know who she is, but focuses on bringing down Diana because she really is deluded and has been corrupted.
Therefore if she does so, in consequence misfortune would happen to Helios reminding him of his decision of choosing Diana. And leaving his best friend behind, because I believe he already got his fair share of the revenge and the rest should just be the repercussions of Diana. You know the side effect because she made an insensitive comment which drove kaelus into a depression, she and the temple became to greedy, and she became so self centred and lost her purpose.
So to end it I hope she lays a bit off Helios back and just let the negative natural consequences happened because I think she herself is overstepping the nonexistent wall she has in kaelus’s life

Thank you for reminding me that he started to have a crush on hestia and that that his actions are due to his guilt and ulterior motives but I still stick with this point. Firstly because I believe there is nothing for her do to hurt Helios on his own, all I think she could do now is is to take Diana down and destroy her in the most brutal way because that in turn with destroy Helios as well. As I see it as the damage she could do on Helios alone has already been done but the one she could do on Diana that will in course affect Helios is more greater so I believe she should focus on this if not so already
And to end it of I think the one who should destroy/take revenge on Helios should be kaelus cause that was his best firend who betrayed him and hestia should at least back of for now and leave it till kaelus is confident enough because this one seems a bit to personal for her to do

This is literally so good. I don’t care what anyone says. Like the romance was a bit off at some times but this was never a story about romance so I am happy they kinda of sidelined it and only focused on fighting and a parent relationship. But I really like how they hinted at the the end the mak su and the wood sect girl have a thing going on.(you know the eye contact I really want to see them together. Surprisingly I think it would work)
And to finally end this I think we might get a sequel and it won’t really be focused on noh but his children cause the brewing war of the imperial family and his late wife’s heritage still hasn’t been fully explored. So I think that in some years time if we are lucky they will continue this universe. Because the children’s life and fighting capabilities is something I hope to see in action and there is many cliff hangers and plot that hasn’t been fully developed because the story was never about that and continuing it would ruin the story
Overall one of the best martial arts/murim story out there, it manages to balance fighting life and family life well just like the title entails
The writer really ruined this story by adding investing the side story cause the 2nd brother had no interest in his younger brother like that. The author just wanted to be eye catching and a d*ck cause it was so unnecessary

Though it is weird to ship an high schooler with an older woman. She is in her early twenties and she hasn’t actually developed feeling to ji woo. But ji woo has developed feeling for her. And how the story is going it looks like they would end up together but would only start dating when he is much older and is at a legal age.
As in simple terms he just has feeling for his close friend’s sister.
Sorry for ranting I really wanted to share my option about this ship is I think it’s a good ship, but the author has to do it properly just like they are now. As no one can outright say she is in love with him. As the writer carefully draws ji young in a way that it shows she does care from him a bit more than she does with the other, while also leaving space between them as she does have a younger brother his age. Sorry again for this big paragraph. Just needed to say something about this ship ╥﹏╥
