I think people w the taste of this story would prolly like it. I get what the author trying to convey. It is painfully beautiful if what you want me to say. You may feel irritated cause protagonist didn't leave his lover and that's what it makes the protagonist betray his world (if you know what I mean).
For fluffy fans, this is not what you're looking for and the tragedy tag there is functioning cause someone did died. And I felt pity on that person cause protagonist betray that person. The one who died are partly at fault because they followed the protagonist to the dark world; all because of distrust. And they brought it on themselves. But the protagonist are also partly at fault because he left that person. I felt empathy to the person that died and hate the protagonist and his lover.
Truly, he is bulshitting people's life.
I know I've read this a couple of times but, the author really didn't consider a side story, huh? And the brother is quite handsome too
