you can't expect that every dialogue is going to follow the sense that everyone is aware of their sexual nomenclature, so i don't see a problem with male characters in yaoi saying "you're my first man" or "i only like you" even tho i know it's problematic. it implies an EXISTENT bissexuality but this is just not a concept that this type of men being portrayed in manga would simply use.
and now *it's time for you to get flabbergasted* they're usually hets with no common sense! what do you expect from people who just got out of their "het confort zone"?
i read a manga a while ago where the uke goes "are you gay?" then the seme goes "no" then the uke again "bi, then" and he goes "probably" which was honestly a miracle in comparison to the great amount of "uke-suffering-for-a-``straight´´-seme-who-happens-to-be-fucking-him" kind of plot existent.

I'm Ace but it doesn't mean I can't f*ck a guy or girl. I think what you're saying tends towards a more phobic interpretation of bisexuality. Essentially this is saying that bisexuality this says bisexuality is not based on who you're sexually attracted to but on who you f*ck. It 's like the people who accused a straight man of being homophobic because his girlfriend all of a sudden acquired a body that caused her to be read as a guy and he couldn't accept it. But if this situation was completely reversed with a gay guy's lover instead and the gay couldn't accept it that previous logic means we'd have to call the gay guy straightphobic. When he's not. T.
