Bro shizuma did take time aside for yuka and understanding her. Did you not see the whole chap of him reminding yuka where she put her stuff. The reason yuka cheated was because shizuma is very passionate about beinf a vet and was studying. The thing is though yuka didn't even say she was lonely. She also didn't even bother asking him to hangout because she claimed she didn't want to bother him and make him stop working. So she cheated.
Shizuma tried so hard for her she legit still says he's the only one she can depend on. He did so much for her.
