If you haven't read yet, there's this angsty manhwa called Death is the Only Ending for a Villainess. The recent chapters are so angsty, i bawled. Gotta warn you though that the author is taking a break.
There's also My Beloved Oppressor, still on going but damn the angst in that manhwa is just too much. I love the story as it potrays the characters in such a realistic way.

10 Years Where i Loved You the Most is actually so heartbreaking. I fear most people will know this manhwa. It's a classic. I could never read it again because it's just too much. There is no happy ending.

I've been SEARCHING for a good manhwa to read and stumbled upon this one by chance. Saw there's only 33 chps and decided to read the first few to see if i should read it or not. I got way into the story and now I'm caught up to the latest chp.
I NEED MORE. The angst is so good. Both the ML and Fl was greatly written. Their reactions were realistic for me. Since most people are hating on ML, i think we keep forgetting that he was like that because of the FL's father. That Marquis is the TRUE villain in the story for me tbh.
I still don't like the ML though for treating the FL like that. No matter if it was justified or not, making her miserable to the point of death? ML def need to be assigned to the mental hospital ASAP.
Dude, no one has forgotten his past, we were all forced to endure many chapters of his simpering monologue. But just because he wasn't abused doesn't mean he isn't abuser. Yes, he was abused by Annette's father but he Heiner is also a monstrous abuser himself. He is a villain -- a cruel, pathetic man who would rather abuse an innocent woman that face up to what he has done.
Okay but that wasn’t the point of their comment though lol. They literally said that they don’t like the ML and their actions are realistic. Which I also agree with, of course we had to endure his sob story, and his actions can’t be justified. His character is honestly well written when it comes to terms with reality. I mean, a person can get cheated on or hurt, which leads them to do the same or worse things to others. Also Yes the ML can be shitty, a red flag, an abuser.

Thank you for explaining it further. English is not my first language so my wording probably led to some misunderstandings. I for one am not siding with the ML whatsoever. I do acknowledge the fact that the ML is an ABUSER and everything he did to FL was so horrifying, i felt so nauseous and cried my eyes out.
Both ML and FL went through different kinds of abuse but, abuse is still abuse no matter the reason. So I'm excited to read more about this amazing story..
