'hikaru' was prolly slipping back to his old unconscious, raw, animal self trying to hold on to his developed character then he was being pulled back to the living world by yoshiki, yoshiki's soul is too beautiful so he skipped that because there was another soul behind him that can be used as a placeholder, HE DID NOT THINK CUZ HE COULDN'T THINK AT ALL, ALL HE WAS FOLLOWING WAS HIS FEELING TO COME BACK. and so he did and he harmed that little girl (I ain't saying he killed her, there's no confirmation yet, maybe just some brain trauma that will effect her life tremendously)
Also, yoshiki literally stated he'll stay with 'hikaru' even if he accidentally killed someone or he himself will break cuz he loves 'hikaru' that much

Personally I dont think yoshiki loves “hikaru” romantically yet cause he sees him more like an animal. For now i think he is still fueled by responsibility for him like a guardian and friend as well as his sense relatability for a place to belong and being accepted. There were often mentions of yoshikis love for animals and in og hikarus words “hate of humans”. Yoshiki does have a strong moral code but with the few chapters we have seen it being given up on in favor of “hikaru” (next chap will really determine how far he’ll go and how much he’ll give up for “hikaru” prob)
“Hikaru” does love him a bunch tho. Like he stated not in our human way but you do see his heart strings being pulled when his left eye starts deforming at some of the thinks yoshiki says. In whatever form he feels I think it is the highest type of love he can muster (for example to the point of giving up his own interests and being + also being able overide his desire to consume so he can simply eat ice cream with yoshiki ect. ).
I think its still too early too say they have mutual romantic love for each other ( I wish tho i just want them to have some happy moments but they esp yoshiki still needs to process and accept some stuff before being able to fall in love again)
Btw like the other comment from MD Butts I also think it was more like an electricity current looking for the easiest passage.

Completely agree. But, given the nature of the story and the author's ideas, I also think their love will ever be romantic.
I think it will remain a "twisted affection" a relationship of co-dependace, where "hikaru" provides a echo of what was the og Hikaru, whom Yoshiki deeply loved and misses, while Yoshiki is the mama-duck, someone who's "Hikaru" sees as the only being that could accept him as his true self.
I hardly see a romantic development when we have this sort of setting..

yoshiki doesn’t see hikaru as an animal but a entity that taken over his body coming to the fact that he’s his own “person” and his eye has been like that since when the original hikaru died his eye was basically blown out. and i totally agree with you saying it’s too early to ever think about them liking each other. Also i love the reference an electric current!,!

No wonder some people hated me back then as a kid, I was overtly toxicly positive as a kid

That wasn't your fault, kids aren't supposed to be responsible for shit, they usually don't even know if what they're doing is right or not. Whoever hated you were bunch of assholes, and if it was other kids, they were just yea kids being assholes as kids, parents failed them and you in that case. Again, not your fault.

If jaekyung grew up from being rich and didn't grow up from his household, experiencing kindness from elderly people. You can prolly imagine him being a spoiled rich prick as an adult. But thank goodness he grew up learning life the hard way, I know some of y'all say people grow from nurture, well that's true but imo nature does play a massive role on someone's development of becoming a person, the environment that surrounded them and basically what kind of person they were born as is. Some kids that grew up like jaekyung prolly have depression and no will to live but jaekyung is that kind of person that pushes until he can get what he wants. (I just woke up writing this so it prolly no make sense)
When the woman boss is not conventionally attractive and seductive archetype because shes the boss.
(Nothing wrong with conventionally attractive woman bosses, i literally love doussay from little mushroom, i just see it often in manhwas that aren't only in bls.)
