The Father. A Scumbag who'll live with regret.
That's all it's about.

Pretty much sums it up. From the beginning, until the end, he was really the true antagonist of this whole story. Worst than the actual Demon, since it was solely based by his own actions that led up to the despair and destruction of people around him.

The man was well known for being Neutral, to the extent that he kept his own children pretty much locked up in the house.

While they both excelled academically and had a wide array of knowledge, Socially they were inept. (More so for Kiera)

Because of this, under the pretext of maintaining neutrality he pretty much just stood in the sidelines and watched as his First Wife suffered abuse.

Using the Grand Dukes neutrality as leverage the Second Wife's family created more oppurtunties for misunderstandings and insults directed to the First Wife.

Even after knowing the family of his Second Wife hired assassins to kill the First Wife and her family, he remained neutral.

The First Wife was slandered of being barren, unable to give birth.

Except she was actually pregant. In despair of her situation she formed a contract with a Demon who she offered her soul to, to protect her unborn child and take revenge on the Parvis family.

I didn't know they were fratnernal twins.

This is where it gets wierd, since I'm not given enough context to know who they're talking about which is confusing. It could swing either way in decribing the First Wife and her own brother or if she herself actually gave birth to fraternal twins. I have a source that says Son, and there's this which clearly talks about Two people. Either way we at least know she gave birth to a girl.

The Demon contracted took possesion of the body and in the process killed off the child in doing so. So from the very start the child in the womb never lived.

Fulfilling the phrophecy, but it is ambigious to the readers if the Water spirit would have changed masters even if the real Cosette had lived.

Cosette is older than Kiera.

There was a sole member of the First Wifes family who survived, and that was her brother. He is now an Earl, and wants revenge.

I'm not sure if he also made a contract with the same Demon as his sister, but they make contact and as you can see in the webtoon he was the one who introduced Cosette.

In the first 회귀 (timeline) The Earl and the First wifes Revenge was succesful and the world turned into Hell.

Going back just a bit, when Cosette arrived and there was confusion among the masses, as to who the real daughter was there was a vote that took place on whether to execute Kiera.

For all his political posturing as a Neutral party the Grand Duke himself voted to Kill off his own daughter.

At the time he actually knew that Kiera was his biological daughter, but still sent her off to the guillotine.

Present time, when Cosette actually arrives the plot becomes almost comical. Since the fight between the two girls is more of a psychological warfare, with verbal insults hurled at the other rather than being physical.

Cosette is a Demon she can't control the spirits. Some one here said it could be her bloodline, but the comments keep talking about her 마술 -her magic so I'm not sure. Being a Demon can you control a Divine being?

However, as soon as the Spirit was activated, Cosette manifested her powers first and Kiera became the Fake princess.

This is the scene where Kiera was able to draw out her Spirit, but was beaten to the punch by Cosette. In shock she never realized she actally succeeded, which then led to her demise.

The Demon doesn't follow human logic, it killed off all those who signed with it. Is what one reviewer said.

The Grand Duke now wants to be treated like a father, which is irresponsible condsidering everything that he's done. Neglect, borderline abuse and passing the blame.

Conflicts are not really explained. The concept is heavy, but the writing is light.

The ending is an open end, where Kiera is seen going on a trip. Traveling and exploring the world, this is after her and her brother completley cut ties with their father.

The conclusion being She will continue to walk her own path.

The Novel genre is 로판 which is just an abbreviation for Romance Fantasy.

Like I said earlier there is no Romance, but if you look at it from a different perspective you can define the plot more as Self Love and Growth.

A prim and proper Lady being exposed to the ways of the world is really an eye-opener on how sheltered her life had been.

In a sense it's a more realistic approach on finding independace outside of duty and obligation, and experiencing how the world really works and functions.

Well, first thing to say is hello there. I'm quite new to this so bear with me while I figure out how to use the spoiler feature.

Mind you I haven't read the novel, but from a compilation of reviews of people who bought the actual book this may not be a complete depiction of the whole story.

There's about 177 chapters. There is no ML, there is no Love Interest, basically there is no Romance in the novel. -Though who knows what they'll do in the manwha. They could follow the 'Who made me a Princess' approach and change the storyline. The plot itself is actually quite similar.

With that said everyone seems to be in agreement that the novel started off strong yet dwindled in the middle and left a lot of them dissappointed with the open end. There were jibes at the author on whether or not they got sick of or hated their own creation.

Kiera comes from a spiritual family who for generations were blessed by god, so you could say they were like Guardians of the Empire.

Not much is known about their divinty since there is some sort of pact made with the Temple not to study it.

The Grand Duke originally had two wives, the first one being ousted (and I'm not sure -assasinated) for some political reasons by what it seems to be the machinations of the second wifes family.

This is where Cosette was able to find her footing within the household since it seems she also shares a resemblance with the first wife.

The wife did have a baby in her stomach, but it was a son not a daughter.

Going back to the blessing, there is a rule that to avoid Chaos and Calamity they have to treasure the spirit weilder who in this case is Kiera.

Which is why when Cosette appears there is confusion as to who the real daughter is, since keeping the fake might incure the wrath of the gods. -Well they killed off the real one and kept the fake one what do you think happened?

As you see in the Manwha she was brought back, exactly two months before Cosette arrives. All due to a magician and maybe the father, it didn't say.

They don't go into further details, but you can surmise that Cosette herself is not a normal person since she is able to deal with magic not spirit since that ability is only belings to Kiera. But from what I gather she is able to use it to her abilites that it resonates with Kieras water spirits, que stealing Kieras Thunder.

As the story goes it's your predictable I'll go my own way and forget about you while I start my new life while I investigate and steer clear of death flags. The Father takes notice since he is now being ignored.

She is now friends with the knights and also shares hobbies with the maids. She does at one point fall for a blonde jerk in the gambling Hall, but it seems shortlived and he was disposed of quickly enough.

The biggest gripe people have with the story itself was that they made such a big deal with Cosette, but she was taken care of completely in the 2nd half of the novel. The latter half of the series was pointless fillers which didn't go anywhere and for all the fuss about the Great Water Spirit, it was never mentioned again which left the readers frustrated.

.The MC ends up with... no one, though it's was said that she likes Nicolas. Michelle (MC's boss at the bakery) is apparently a prophet. In Michelle's vision, they saw Nicolas proposing to the MC with her accepting it but unlike the vision, the MC actually rejects Nicolas proposal and tells him that she wants to remain as a commoner.

In the end, the MC tells Nicolas that up until now, she has never liked anyone, she cannot afford to love, but at this moment, she wants to die because she's by her favorite person's side. Right after Nicolas says her name, she makes a break for it back into her house and crawled under her futon. She knows Nicolas would abandoned the country to be with her, but she believes he's important to the country. When thinking of this, she starts to wonder if she could make Nicolas give up on her instead.

The MC talks to the heroine and find out both of them are reincarnaters. The ore-sama prince also finds out the MC didn't bully the heroine. At some point, the heroine attempts to suicide.

Eventually, the FL got kinapped because of her maid Hannah then she got separated from her dad and bro. They travelled a long way then they tried to escape the kidnappers and the FL will befriend the dragon (i forgot the other details) Haha.
