I’m sorry to say this but they end up together. The chasing arc was good how the emperor suffered and changed for the MC. But yeah this is dark romance and not fluff, the plot to this was really good but the ending was left open. I hate open ended stories.
Not the ending I was expecting but I’m glad that this story had its happy ending. I thought this whole manhwa was cancel bc of what the old artist did which is really disgusting but anyways I’m just glad they continued it n finalized it （￣へ￣）
