McQueen and Chang are just two sides of coin..

I'm so confused as to what happened in that film. Wasn't Ryan paid to act as the victim in that movie? Or was he actually raped?

Eh, did I read it wrong? Did u mean the one movie in the prison setting? Cuz from the novel, McQueen didn't rape ryan...it was actually a porn acting, where mcqueen played a guy who raped his inmate played by ryan..and ryan knew about the script beforehand...but yes, they had to act as if it was rape. From what Ryan said i got the impression he was once raped and tried to mend his trauma by participating in this movie, like tried to overwrite the painful experience with the similar experience where he consented and had control over it. But the emotional Ed took what Ryan said as McQueen will do anything to make money out of his movie, even if the act is rapey.
I'd agree tho that at some points McQueen was also exploitative, but since the other parties consented to the act, unlike Chang..
Is there any other occasion where Mcqueen raped Ryan for real?

When I was reading it I got the impression that ryan didnt know beforehand about how real the rape scenes were gonna be, so McQueen was being too aggressive for Ryan's liking and even if he didnt rape him rape him, McQueen still profited from a rapist story meaning he really has no remorse for the real victims

I know never said anything about chang dont really want anyone to be with him either

Ryan makes it out to Ed that he wasnt comfortable with the sex scenes because of how real they are meaning McQueen was doing something that ryan wasnt liking but was still doing to him. He tells mcqueen that he's a rapist holding a camera, if you are having sex with someone and they are being forceful and you think its rape then its rape just like ed and chang because if you want to get technical ed was all up on chang and then when chang did come on to Ed he didnt like it and himself classified that as rape

I replied to the other person and said the same thing if you want to get technical Ed got all over Chang and I mean all over when chang was telling him to back off and then when Chang did go all over Ed he didnt like it which does classify as rape if Ed felt.like it was. Same with Ryan he didnt really know how the sex scenes were going to be

I went back and read it and know I dont think McQueen really did rape Ryan, thanks for making me fo back and read it, but either way McQueen did in fact profit and try to call it art on a movie based off of a real rapist's story (real in the book not in real real life) and Ryan was basically telling him he's sick for doing that which is right and I still won't be reading because that's happening in our society today (people putting real rape in Pornhub) and its just not something I'm comfortable reading especially since McQueen so far is getting some kind of happy ending

it's fine lol good thing you never did but yeah Pornhub doesn't listen to the victims when they would beg them to take it down, one victim who was 14 in her rape video had to pretend to be a lawyer and threaten the site which they put down. It's not like its noticeable when you go in the site you have to search the right tags but still its sick knowing that people are on there watching these victims for their own satisfaction

That's too sick!! I can't believe it!! it's bad enough that they objectify rape in yaoi in a modern setting..even that is just drawing and not using real human... I hope that site would be banned tho i know it's prolly not possible since porn sites made tons of bucks :(
I thought what you meant are gay rape uploaded there, whose victims are usually discreet and not want to file a report..but if they are girls, let alone underaged, doesn't that mean the the videos cud be a strong evidence to drag the offenders to prison? Particularly cuz the victims/family/police can identify the offenders from the videos? If they report that it may open the authorities' eyes to such atrocious acts..

And yes, mcqueen will get his happy ending with ed..he quit porn for good tho and help Ed with his debt

well for one her character is just not my cup of tea, she literally did nothing in the overhaul fight but they just had to give her screen/panel time she reminds me of megumi in food wars (more stronger tbh) just always has to be there and to me if she wouldn't have been floating with nighteye's body during the whole deku vs. overhaul fight we would of survived even if he told you to stay that man is clearly dying lol get him to a hospital, they only screamed it to her like 5 times by different people and she still stood there lol
