honestly speaking when i see isekai with a harem tag i set the bar of expectation spectacularly low.. but this time i managed to bump it up a few inches!
pretty standard op mc trying to hide his strength story but annoying tropes are set to the minimum. also ended up loving laila a lot and i think she’s on track to developing an actual personality that isn’t just horny for mc.. quite rare for the genre. i’m glad that she’s the fl and that she already knows and accepts that her husband is a slut.

like i get wanting to be critical of media but to do that you have to be able to identify things like. genre (horror/dark comedy). audience (i would say this is probably seinen? so like. guys in their late teens). and author intent (SATIRE).
the yandere-ness is so exaggerated here it’s comical.. it would be one thing if all these events showed up in a shojo romance and the mc doesnt see anything wrong w them / the narrative of the story intends to justify them as normal. that is in no way what’s happening here! do you really think the author is writing the ML so that readers will find him attractive, or do you think the author is writing the ML so that the readers can tell he’s violent, irrational, and dangerous ?????
