I don't think so. I'm not hating on your thought, but I don't think it was entirely her fault. She is an adult older than Ye Zi's parents, so she knows what it's like to have kids and how to raise them properly. She would feel concerned, of course. She probably just wanted the parents to stop, since no one should be doing this to their child when they are seven. She caught on, and she knew what was happening to Ye Zi. I think that she just wanted to watch it happen. Most people just let it be and not be bothered into other family's business because they might be scared. She's a little heroic in my opinion for standing up and going over to Ye Zi's parents and doing something instead of doing nothing. Sadly, it lead to what happened, and that's sad. But I don't think she was trying to be a busy body. Most adults know what it's like to have kids, so she probably just got worried and thought it was wrong. I hope that the grandma doesn't get hurt, she was kind. Again, not trying to hate, just my opinion. Please don't take it the wrong way and me bashing on you opinion, cause I'm not.
