So i'd say this is actually one of the least toxic BLs ive read, everyone can fight me on this but really the only major issues are internal-character conflicts and a lack of communication. Ash isn't really a bad person, he's just a little stupid sometimes. He doesn't really think before he acts but I dont think that even once in the story he did anything to intentionally hurt Karlyle. Unpopular opinion aparrently but this is one of my comfort stories.
and when he did, He always apologized and treated lyla more like a princess to make it up to him. He's really good at handling that lyla struggles with communication compared to other stories you see it as its never spoken/resolved.
Absolutely! I see a ton of people bashing Ash because he went out and did something stupid again, but let’s be honest he usually doesn’t have the whole context to situations when these things happen because of the miscommunications. Lyle is a very reserved person so I could see why it’d be hard to know what he’s thinking or what’s bothering him. Yeah I get a little upset with Ash but it’s very clear that he has no malicious intent at all. He’s just, again, a little stupid sometimes, yknow?
