That was actually a 180° in personality, I don't know how to take it, or if I even believe it. But it was intense. That's for sure... MC is very mature and calm, he nailed it really. I personally don't think ML would have really hurt MC (I hope) but it was a bit too much though. Well everybody has ups and downs but if MC decide to continue then I'll follow him too to see where it goes.
Was it really a 180°? I always thought that ML was passive-agressive, petty and imature. He always nagged and pushed the MC's buttons. I re-read some of the first chapters and ML was constantly being rude and doing little evil things to others out of jealousy or out of spite. What was captivating was that he would treat MC much better than others, seemed to care more and pay attention to MC. ML definitely has a lot to grow as a person. All the toxic traits kinda piled up with time and culminated in this shit show. I really hope ML works on himself so we get a happy ending!
You're right, he's clearly passive-agressive, petty and immature since the beginning but I really think there are some degree, on one to ten, at the beginning it was clearly a 3 for me but now it's eleven xD no one can compare. And I agree too, he's really immature and I think he lack confidence in himself and other so there's that too, but anyone can change I believe it and if MC believe I will too... Of course some people don't cant to change or whatever but I'll let him a chance, it's probably because it's been so long that I follow them around that I want to believe it and because MC's so mature and hope for a better future so for his sake I will too.
