My heart shattered multiple times reading this chapter. Nev did everything in his power to protect Ben from the same fate, but didn't consider that this blue haired piece of shit will try to use Ben for his own plan (it only succeed because he was basically like a parent/family member to Ben). And Yoel's sacrifice on the top!? He got such a good character development in comparison to his original self, but I guess this was his fate, to fight to the end, no matter how futile it was. But at least og Hero and MC are alive for now, I guess? The only hope is in Taekwon (Hero is heavily injured and Argio is occupied fighting other monsters) maybe he will find the power within himself to protect his loved ones? Or he will use one of those ridiculous artifacts?

Based on the injury I assume the piss boy is unfortunately going to live. At first I thought it could be spine fracture (I was so frickin happy) but on the second examination he got stabbed in trapezius and rhomboid major, under/ next to his right shoulder blade (kinda mid for this asshole). So in conclusion the worst (best for us) thing will be chronic pain of neck muscles and upper back, and maybe some limited mobility of right shoulder blade (including rotation)
