God, I can’t believe some of you people attacking Mafuyu and saying he doesn’t deserve Ue because he hasn’t moved on from Yuki. Look, coming from someone who lost their boyfriend five years ago, you never really get over it. You can grow to love other people and try to move past it but it’s always there. There’s always a bit of guilt and questioning there because you feel like you’re betraying them but people say you need to move on. So screw that. I can move on when at the same time it still fucking hurts and I miss him. That’ll never change because he was an important part of my life that was suddenly ripped away. He’s always going to be there in the back of my mind no matter what I do in life and I’m fine with that. This manga is really special to me because I relate to Mafuyu and it feels good to see him happy. So don’t you people fucking dare blame shit on Mafuyu. He’s trying his best and he’s going to move on at his own pace, even if Yuki will always be there in the back of his mind. I’m going to keep rooting for him and Ue and wanting them to be happy.
I’m so with you. Nicely said...a cut will leave a scar nor matter how many times you try to cure it, it’ll always be there to remind you. One can only dismiss it, but the memory and pain than made it will always be there...some people just don’t get it (and never will) because they don’t know this kind of pain.
