There’s no reason to ever hit a child. Kids don’t have the capacity to understand how complicated the world is or how hard their sister is working, and her hitting them isn’t going to do anything to help them understand. They’re all too emotionally vulnerable and dealing with unresolved trauma (including mc) and they need therapy. Mc is acting just as immature as the little kids when she decides to use violence rather than reason.
