At first I was worried that this might turn into the yandere monopolizing kind of plot but I'm so glad we got to hear Shires conflicting thoughts. It's beautiful how he's battling with wanting his lover to do well but wanting to be the only one to know him as well. I hope they talk it out and become even closer~

Ugh I hate it when characters are selfish and causes the main to be swept into their pace without any input on the matter. It makes me feel like they've got no control over their lives and that's awful. I know if things got out of control like this I would NEVER go along with it. I mean if you don't get to choose for yourself, what's the point in living? The whole time I was reading I was hoping the main would be able to stand up for himself or do something to avoid putting himself in a vulnerable position but ofc in the end he's gna end up going with the flow and "loving" his brother. Wtf. If you have to molest and manipulate someone's feelings to make them accept you, you're no better than a fucking rapist. Ugh. I'm just so done with plots like this.

"My mother ran away when I was young"
"I saw you a lot when you were young"
Is this not suspicious?? Also, where did you get that the mother even cheated?? While there's a bug possibility of his father having cheated, nowhere does it mention the mother cheated (And trust me, it would have been mentioned if that were the case). Also, since he didn't know his dad was gay, it's possible they didn't tell him the reason why she left. Imo if his dad was cheating on her, it's totally reasonable for her to think "I want to forget this even happened" or "I want to start over". And since his dad is obviously fine with raising him, it shouldn't be a problem for his mother to go and do so because it was her that wasted her time with a cheater

I agree, but at least the mother should take her kid with her too.Wanting to start over don't mean to forget about your kids.

I actually rlly love this concept. Like the whole saying the rules throughout the story was super great. I love how open he is but how he keeps himself in check. It's rlly difficult to find refreshing characters like this and I love him for it. I hope he continues with this strong character and downs turn into one of those totally tfundere blushing types. That would be so disappointing

Okay we see kouhei's pov cuz we're the readers but taichi doesn't have the benefit of the fourth wall. How is he supposed to know kouhei is feeling insecure when kouhei WON'T SAY ANYTHING. I get that taichi might be a bit oblivious but that's how he is, that's how he's always been. We can't suddenly expect him to have an epiphany and go like "oh I totally understand everything kouhei is thinking now" like he got some kind of mind reading ability! It sucks for kouhei that he's feeling that way but if he doesnt speak up, he can't blame anyone but himself. You have to communicate your feelings in order to be heard, you can't except people to listen to what you're not saying, being hard of hearing has got nothing to do with it. I totally get that he's feeling insecure cuz of his hearing and has every right to but when has taichi done anything to make him feel like he can't say anything? Taichi has been nothing but compassionate and even got a job that helps ppl like kouhei in order to understand better yet kouhei still doubts his feelings for him. You are not mute kouhei, pls just talk to taichi.
Yeah, that sex scene was not enjoyable to read at all. K sensei needs to work on being gentle... It's hard on midori otherwise ┗( T﹏T )┛
