That was exactly how i felt when i read the new chapters..
i wish it will turn out ok..i dont like him with the other girl.

I’m confused too, i thought sakura’s not the mother but wew theres hope, it is still ongoing, so there is not an answer. When a friend said this news to me i reread all the latest chapters, and i think (well i wish) salada is sakura and sasuke’s daugther, sensei is just confusing us and if not.. Poor sakura, she will look a martyr and pitiable in that situation.. Strong woman though, being another child’s mother.

Sakura is the mother, the creator said so himself.

If he really, really didn't like taking pictures, then the only picture sakura would get would be when he was 12 and those wanted posters.... since it was taken without his permission.

yes, i agree that the enemy looks like an amazing professional assasin. i kinda know in my veins that something bad gonna happen but in the end things gonna be alright? haha ha ha...I hope they both survive it. Asami and Aki looks so dashing even in such situation dayumm

I'm amazed by certain comments because some people seem to think Akihito is very clumsy and, on the contrary, Asami is really very skillful in nearly everything.

I understand your worries and we can't deny that Akihito is far less experienced than Asami in the field of fire arms, etc, but he's not an idiot and he's skillful too. Remember in the first book when he jumped from the roof of a building. He's impulsive but he's really cunning, brave and know really well how to escape (and he has a lot of experiences in the field of escaping mainly due to his job). He also is very determined.

He knows that if he wants to save himself and save Asami, he has to listen to what Asami said. Besides, he answered him by saying "I understand!" and he "obeyed" Asami, running as fast as he could towards the helicopter. Of course, he can fall in his precipitation but he also can nearly fly and reach the helicopter and help Asami after that.

I think he has planned to use the gun when he accepted it. He usually hates fire arms and, yet, he took it without complaining (even if his face was revealing his true feelings at this moment). I wouldn't be surprised if, as soon as he climbs in the helicopter, Akihito raised the gun to use it and help Asami running towards the helicopter too.

Furthermore, Kirishima is certainly not alone in the helicopter and the others will help their boss escape too. If they fire on their enemies, Asami can reach the helicopter, unharmed. However, I think Asami will have to face more than one opponent because the guys who were seeking for them won't stay in the penthouse, they're going to rush on the roof.

Personally, I don't think that Akihito and/or Asami will be killed for two reasons:
1. It would mean the end of the manga and I don't think the mangaka wants to end it like this.
2. It would be in total mismatch with what Ayano Yamane said before about the future of both of them in one of her author notes (book 5, 2009 May). I have the french edition of the book but I think the other editions contains the same notes???

1. I don't think Yamane-sensei would have given Takaba gun if she didn't intend for him to use it at some point, so yes I have no doubt he would use it, especially if he needed to defend Asami.

2. You forgot the most compelling reason neither Asami nor Takaba will be killed... Sensei writes to please the readers. In my book's notes from May 2009, she mentioned that both Fei Long and Yoh were marked for death but survived because of the sheer amount of fan letters concerning those characters. There is no WAY in hell she will kill off her main characters.

Now that I think about it, is that why Sudou is still alive? Who the hell is writing the fan letters for Sudou?!

Reading through the rest of the notes though, I don't see a whole lot about their future- other than "what awaits Akihito in Japan is a life of untold, hellish debauchery with Asami!"... so now you have me wondering how different our notes are.

Yes, you're right: the fans have also an influence on the author's projects about this story... You made me laugh with your comment about Sudou and his potential fans.^^

About the author notes, indeed, I was mentioning the part you wrote. In the french edition, it's nearly the same translation. It says: "the only thing that awaits Akihito is a life of pleasure and debauchery with Asami". So, I was thinking of that when I said I thought they won't be killed. They can't spend a life experiencing delicious pleasures if they are going to die so soon after they met. When Ayano Yamane said that, it revealed that they're normally going to live a few decades and they'll stay together, happy. And, it's what the readers want.

Now, that doesn't mean they can't be injured or suffer but they'll survive.

I agree about Akihito's skills. Fans like to portray him as weak and more feminine than he is. Don't forget even his editor said he was probably a descendant of a ninja. Heck I could totally see Akihito pulling an interesting stunt once he gets to the helicopter (though maybe not using a gun in that process because I doubt his aim would be that good having no experience). But he probably will have to use it at some point and it'll be nice if we see him not even hesitate with it if it means saving Asami.

And hey, since everyone is expecting one of them to be injured, maybe a plot twist will be that they get out fine, lol.

Don't forget-- Takaba didn't hesitate at all the first time he fired a gun at someone (and he hit them!)... and that was just because he was pissed at Yuri for shooting Kirishima. XD

All I know is I have been screaming through out this whole series And a very rapid pulse .I hope they both make it and find who wants to kill them. If they do make it where would they go to be safe.?? They got to find out who's trying to kill them.

Continues to my theory, maybe yes akihito would use the gun, actually shot the enemy in shoulder and hides, akihito did not run and wait for asami to go to his side on guard, ready to shoot if the enemy goes out and shoot asami while he is running. Then he signaled aki to go now in the helicopter, asami the one in the guarding. But then enemies inside got to the rooftop, and aki now on the heli and defense, butbasami on the middle..! Well, he is a butterfly fairy so my worries goes down somehow. Lol (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
