i know what you mean, i was beginning to think she would be like most of the females in shoujo manga- rash, stubborn, stupidly nice, naive, and always need saving- but luckily she realized her mistake soon and took responsibility for it instead of just crying and blaming herself without doing anything herself- she turned out to be one of my favorite female characters
