What's with these horrible spoilers guys?! Seriously what is wrong with these authors creating horrible love interests?! Like I just discovered and binged read the available chapters today and was like "heyy this one's really interesting and refreshing." I like it so far, although I felt like the romance is a bit uh, I don't mind it but are you for real??! I don't really mind that art I just don't like the MC'S ugly hairdo lolol, like artsyle wise I've seen more interesting ones, this one's pretty fine in my opinion. But! Whdym The story will go a horrible way?! What the heck... If that's true then this is yet another downgrade/wasted potential ughhh

Also that blonde having affair with someone fiancee didn't rlly come into my mind. I thpught she has good relationship with her turn out she even worst than that girl's rival.
Yess, same here. I think she seems fine for a love interest too. And yeahh U was wondering what happened to those pots too. Like they just moved on without addressing what happened to them??? And about the blonde, I can't say much about her lol but I did find he r odd since she kept glaring at the MC even though he did nothing when she met him lolol.
This comment was just me ranting lol, since this is another series I've discovered who has potential but apparently the authors seems to be intent on making bad decisions on how they'll write their stories these days....It's just whenever I read a new series I go through the comments and read through whatever spoilers there is if there's a novel, since they're helpful in building up my expectations on how the story will go. If I like it I'll continue reading it and may pick up the novel, and if I don't then bye bye ig. And for this series what I've read is bad news, like the plot direction will go worse apparently because of the romance aspect?? There's not definite proof though. So believe what you will. It's just sad to read another series which has potential but is ruined by fan service or horrible character writing...
Well i also hate romance on fantasy (male mc) but as long as their relationship not so cliche like "omg he was my lifesaver i fall in love with him bla bla." Ugh.. I want them only work together like on TCF, ORV. Help each other out. If there rlly need fanservice maybe within the plot give us a chance to like FL. Like how she has development chara without force plot. or rather introduced her at first as love interest? Without harem ofc

I just found this today and binge read til the present chapter. And this has been a great read and plot was refreshing and interesting. THIS WAS FUN! The MC, Ash, is an excellent protagonist who has strengths and flaws which is great. As a massive bookworm I relate to him and his appreciation for books and knowledge. Very great storytelling too. The characters (from the village) are all nice characters and were written well in my opinion, though there may be less focus on them.
The main love interest(?), Maika is also great. She wasn't typical love interest and has actual motivation and development so far. But then all of a sudden when the story entered this new arc of being in the local city, were suddenly introduced to new love interest/s (only one so far but the others could be) and I just want to say that wth. Like I personally have no issues with her as potential love interest since so far she seems to have actual purpose and motivations as characters and is developing. BUT I don't really think it's necessary to add another, since haven't the story been building up the ending of Maika and Ash since she was introduced at the beginning and now you're telling me this becomes a typical harem fantasy story wherein the love interest become flat characters ove time wth?!?! Why do these authors keep doing this... What a waste.

This is insane. It's a completely new perspective and take on the genre. The plot is interesting, the art matches the theme and atmosphere of the story. Very interesting!

I also agree that it's SOO WORTH ITT and although I was disappointed there isn't much more in the story, it was an enjoyable read. I definitely now get the hype for that anime.
This story deals with heavy topics and depicts those in a such great way that it may be uncomfortable to some (like me, since I couldn't help but recall some bad memories as well, also why I reacted like that in my original comment). I also liked how each characters were fleshed out and have their own purpose in the story. I fell in love with them and their stories, although I did hope that some justice were brought upon who wronged these babies, but it's okay they'll definitely get justice in the future, I just know in my head huhuhu
