Ok so I'm not trying to doubt either of them. But first off Nine has every right to be worried and Melissa also has every right to believe that he may be thinking she's weak. First, Nine cares deeply about Melissa, and as much as she's strong every person needs protection as well. He isn't dismissing her nor believing she's weak, but he's simply worried. Even if Melissa knows her survival is guaranteed, she's forgetting she's the only one who's read the novel and knows she'll be fine unlike Nine. Second some may find the way nine is acting annoying by not talking and just pouting away like a child. But let's not forget he was forced into a silent isolation and never once held a grudge against the people who forced that upon him. He loves Melissa so dearly that he was willing to kill for her, so ofc he wouldn't want to talk back to her and instead just sulk away or hide like he's always done. Lastly Melissa started to feel as though he only thinks of her as a porcelain doll because of her vision. The paranoia that others would view her so weakly that she would be forced to live a life Yuri was forced into. I'm not blaming either, but this is necessary plot because season one was a little to memey for me. Melissa needs to communicate and so does Nine, but ofc it needs a little conflict and confusion for them to realize that. We know Nine is endgame but everyone has flaws, especially well written characters. I would be disappointed if Melissa finds out Nine likes her and then apologizes and listens to him just because he likes her. But I doubt that would happen, because both are very strong characters mentally and hopefully will be able to get through this tiny conflict that may or may not bring them closer.

I got hooked the moment she decided that she was going to die in an extravagant manner while plucking flowers to see which direction her head would fall. I absolutely love her because she isn't kind nor mean and is kinda in between. Also the ML gotta stop denying his love for her because the chemistry is ridiculous.

Pretty sure the author is giving us sickingly sweet stories to prepare us for the whole assassin thing, but honestly this was a little out of nowhere and seemed like it was resolved in uhhh like a weird way? Idk it just felt off but this story is still good!
