There are only few of the numbered left and thats like the first family Ijin has had (since he doesn’t remember his parents). Never has he considered killing them so this will definitely make him go berserk. Maybe he’ll start killing again. They mention how he never kills anyone anymore and only severely injures them, but since this is about the numbered he will finally do it.
Ive been reading this story since before they even ran away to that beach area and i can’t believe it’s finally ended. Honestly I can’t believe Haru died its genuinely so sad, but at the same time im so happy that Sachi never gave up even after that and rather found happiness.
I sobbed when I saw the room full of pictures it genuinely got me in my feels bcs the thing that attracted me to this manga in the first place was the picture of Haru and Sachi together in the room full of pictures of her.
Regardless of how I feel i think dying was kind of he best ending for Haru. Sachi still had hope as she was young but Haru kind of gave up until the end where he was finally motivated to live. I do wish we cldv seen them together and see how they wldv lived, but I think this cld be the second best ending possible for them.

This is like my second or third time reading this story and to this day nothing can top its amazing show of love and dedication. And the absolute angst of love between a person with immortality and a mortal. It genuinely hurts me especially since i lowkey wanted just a tiny reunion between Lily and her parents, bcs tbh thats how their relationship was like. Also i know the ending was perfect but i still crave like more about their love and more side stories. I wonder if Philippa is human now or if shes still a witch. Lowkey i hope shes a human.
The fact that ppl gave this such low stars proves just how tiny their reading comprehension and patience is bcs this story is soo well built and full of fleshed out characters with unique and understanding backgrounds. Everyone dropped it all cause of the guy in the first chapter “not being the mc” and didn’t even give it until 20 chapters to be fully released for them to see that in this story there are no mc’s. Everyone here is the main character and god its wonderful. This is by far one of the best written stories ever, no villains no heros no anti heros none of that, just pure humans who unfortunately were granted powers in a miserable world. This has become one of my favorite stories ever just from the characters alone and then theres also the plot and story building which is so consistent i love it. Its a very thought out story that makes it obvious everything was planned from top to bottom. Definitely worth the read!

This was a rollercoaster! I hated and loved both characters, I hated their lack of communication yet the persistent way they came back to each other made me love them more. They were so real and raw in their personalities and thats why I felt so much while reading this story. Their trauma rlly shaped them, especially Kim Mingyeom!!(last name hehe) The ending made me so happy. Honestly as much as this story frustrated me with their actions I also understood their point of view which is what I consider rlly amazing characters. I love their development and also their relapses of insecurities, and ofc their growing trust afterwards. This was a well made story! (Love how they never gave redemption to the dad or excused his actions, some things are just unforgivable.)
