I love everything about this story and how amazingly realistic it was! It was like looking into the average love life of a sweet couple and it made me yearn for a domestic love life too, they’re so cute and so sweet. I love the way they handled their issues and their insecurities with so much care and understanding for each others circumstances and I love how fleshed out the other characters were! So glad to see everyone thriving in the time skip and I love how some things were left up to our own interpretation because it’s just so much more realistic in that sense. Amazing wholesome story, im so depressed I finished it.
First scene is bad but she clearly didn’t seem bothered by it at all and they barely put any focus on it- this kind of thing is common for these mangas. Not trying to excuse it js saying ppl shldnt drop it for a barely there scene when this entire manga was so cute and enjoyable! Wish there was more after their marriage hehe

My favorite part abt this Rein story is the fact that although he is truly a whole hearted yandere, who wants to keep her all to himself and like has no moral compass- his absolute love for her outweighs any of his impulses or actions. In the first universe he rarely acted out bcs he respected and loved her as his master, meanwhile in the second universe he did fuck up at first- but instead of acting rashly and killing her or getting worse, he learned to get better and changed for her. In every universe his love for her acts as his stabilizer meanwhile her love for him is the very thing that helped push her into having more emotions and feelings. Theyre perfect!!
I remember the good days when this was first coming out and i used to goon to it since it was the first smutty vampire fic i ever read. It was so good with so much potential and tension. Let it marinate and instead of gooning in bliss i got hit by that fucking ending.
He cldv been those loving protective brothers, he cldv grown out of the abuse mindset and cycle and protected her without causing her harm too. He hates his father for what he does to him but doesn’t realize that hes doing the same- if not worse- to Ruby. It’s so depressing
The worst part abt it is that u can rlly see the good in him creeping up sometimes, but his sick twisted brain and trauma convinced him that Ruby was something he owned, that just bcs he saved her meant he was entitled to her. He knew what his father did was wrong, he knew that she was suffering- yet he cldnt see past the fact that he was also causing her the most pain. All bcs he was genuinely in belief that she loved him and that she understood that all that he was doing was for her own good.
