I'm so glad I stumbled across this. I honestly love the story, it made me cry but also smile. I did cry more though, kinda am confused at the ending. Did Eric (One) die...?
Eric didn't die :D you can see in the last chapter he tells Shell to shoot what I think is a metal plate. So I'm pretty sure the bullet didn't hit him and he just faked his death. Now Eric lives in the old mansion (that they might've rebuilt) peacefully with Shell.
Then again thats my interpretation of it. He might've actually died and I just misunderstood but I prefer a happy ending anyways
