its because it takes time to translate, clean, typeset and proofread a single chapter. the annoyance isnt that they believe it is theirs', anyone would get angry if they spent hours on something, to find someone else had pushed it out before them. sniping is looked down on because it wastes scans groups' time.

is that their fault for being more efficient. if sniping is looked down upon, why is hogging also not done the same. this is the reason why good manhwas take eternity to have 12 pages updated, while shitty manhwas that no one read have hundreds of chapters in a week. I dont think the group is entitled to being annoyed over something they have no rights to and smthg that is supposed to be done informally. Ive seen discord communities where they are taking on newly released manhwas just for the popularity boost when they arent even at all done with the ones they are translating. I cant tell them cos its only one way communication, but really, some scan sites take too much works and produce translations at a snails pace. The division of labor is too tilted for a group thats by law shouldnt be existing or profitting. Any lawyer would laugh at this. If they want to complain so much, why not buy the license to translate and distribute officially. I would pay, as Ive had for any other official releases.

yea, but people have to realise that these are illegal distributions. I dont even know why the need for perfection like its a well paid job. As long as its regular and readable then its okay for kids who cant afford and adults who want to see the story before they pay the artist for official releases. No one is going to wank off to perfection in a free manhwa. Why not leave the cleaning and typesetting to the actual official translators for them to get paid instead. If you compare Claude forever translations to the current one, its pretty clear that its sabotage.

Yup. I don't get how people can pressure the first group by demanding they need to be more efficient for her, but say that it's alright for the second group to have bad quality and nobody should pressure them. Seems like the entitlement specific to which scanlation group is around.

You cant be mad if u are too swamped with other works to take it back, its not urs. When will u understand that we dont give a shit. What makes u entitled to our support when theres another group willing to do it faster. my point is, if theres someone willing, just let them. sorry, not sorry that no one is babysitting DnA once every 3 weeks uploads when theres a once every 3 days upload. Its not about the speed. its about the lack of rights groups have to judge who has the moral high ground. I dont go and complain other regular works if theres only one scan site willing to work on it. Its a free internet, do what u want till u get caught world. Its kind of dumb that all these scans revealing themselves so that they can be easily reported to the author.
