I think novel is already finished(kinda anticlimatic for me tbh). They living comfortably now(no toxicity, fear,anxiety, riftans obsession mellowing out considerably...none of those dark feelings....) and no children at the end. Idk if there will be sidestories. I read rumors that the author already wanted it to end so i dont think there will be side stories last i searched.

Im not sure where to read novel, i know a site before but I forgot and it was only up to when riftan is obsessed in amassing wealth and power while Maxi is at tower, its not updated...its been 2 years last i searched it.

I swore long ago in novel someone said she got pregnant but had a miscarriage. She does again towards end it's not out right stated though??? That comment somewhere in this comment thread but it's from loooong ago it'll be hard find it again

I agree with @Deathscythe — the novel felt anticlimactic and honestly a bit boring for me. It's more of a one-time read compared to the manhwa, which stands out thanks to its beautiful art and vibrant colors. Also, yes, Maxi did have a miscarriage, which she wasn’t even aware of because Riftan kept it from her. After that, the story just drags on with more drama that feels unnecessary... and then it’s over. The ending doesn’t mention whether they’ll have children, though it’s noted that Maxi becomes an aunt.
