Tbh I'm just reading for minwoo at this point, hes so interesting to me and I wanna see what the authors planning for him, like at first he was the overprotective friend, then we thought he'd matured a bit with his decision to stay away from Mc then mc kinda pressures him back into their old relationship, now mcs pregnant with MLs kid. Minwoo still hates ML, and mc is distancing himself from minwoo now that hes pregnant (kicked him out of the hospital room saying hes making him uncomfortable and wants to be alone then immediately bringing ML in).
I'm just scared they're gonna make him a whole villain, just give him a wonderful mature love interest and let him leave mcs ungrateful ass (still mad that he told ML he'd ditch minwoo if he wanted him to when he literally cried and asked him to be friends again like a chapter before)At this point with MC it's like I want you to be my friend and to stay by my side but only when I want it and if I feel like your an inconvenience in the slightest then I'll ditch you despite knowing how much you care about me.
Saying minwoo is overprotective is an understatement while saying mc pressured him to be friends again is wild. Minwoo is the one that’s desperate for mc’s attention. MC wants a normal friend that doesn’t have intentions towards him and doesn’t want to keep in a sheltered little box. It’s suffocating when you know your friend likes you. Minwoo seemed to be maturing and acting normal until the hospital thing where he’s getting in between them yet again. Mc pushing minwoo away again because he senses minwoo is acting up again trying to be the guard dog.
Mc wants a normal friend but minwoo loves him, he knew this and still said he wanted things to back to how they were?? Let's not act like minwoo is some crazy stifling guy who prevented him from doing anything, mc has always had the freedom to do as he pleased, when minwoo thought mc was getting assaulted (again) he beat tf out of ML.
And once again he let his guard down and mc got beaten up and nearly got assaulted while pregnant yet mcs treating him like hes doing too much and is a nuisance. If mc was gonna act like how he is why even be friends with minwoo again in the first place, should've just let him be.
And like i said the whole thing with MC being ungrateful to minwoo and treating him like hes some disposable thing still stands.
I think you don’t remember the story at all. He wants things back to how they were as friends.
Minwoo is an obsessive guy who blatantly admitted that TWICE to mc. He admitted that he took advantage of the fact that he was mc’s only friend. In the very first chapter Mc mentioned how minwoo doesn’t like when he’s in group chats with new people. Minwoo has always been monitoring mc’s friendships. Minwoo had a hand in making mc the way he is. He sheltered mc and was mc’s only friend after keeping others away. When he found out Mc was hooking up with the ml, he told mc not to get involved with him anymore and stayed at mc’s house to monitor him. He kissed mc in his sleep, and another time tried marking mc before mc pushed him away. Minwoo didn’t know anything about their relationship other than the fact that they were hooking up. No matter how many times mc told ml he was wrong about their relationship, he insisted ml was wrong and that he changed mc into “something he isn’t.” Reread the story. He saw mc and ml MAKING OUT and he got crazy jealous and beat ML UNCONSCIOUS. Meanwhile he only calmly spoke to the guys trying to gang rape the mc. He’s more protective than the mc’s sister who knows best. The sister warns mc but she knows he’s a grown adult and lets him make his own choices, meanwhile minwoo had to be told multiple times to stop for him to get it.
The fact that you ignore and forgot all this is actually concerning. It’s giving romanticizing an obsessive friend.
Ngl the refresher you just gave me did just kick me in the balls, but still mcs always known minwoo has a thing for him so I do feel like him keeping him around instead of just dumping him is kind of cruel, like if hes grateful for their past and the things hes done before then he should just dump him as a friend already, cut him off completely so he doesnt end up destroying their friendship, let him move on yk. If he stays with Mc he'll always be worrying about him and will never be able to move on.
The thing is, the order events goes: mc gets mad and tells minwoo what he’s been feeling all along, that he feels suffocated by minwoo’s behavior. Minwoo’s like “you’re right, I was being obsessive, I won’t bother you anymore.” So it’s minwoo that breaks off the friendship. Then the incident with the gang rape attempt happened, minwoo saves him, and they talk. Mc admits he does want to stay friends and have things go back to how they were but says he thinks it would be selfish after knowing how about minwoo’s feelings. Minwoo is the one that says, “I won’t push my feelings onto you anymore, I’ll be by your side as I always have.”
Minwoo chose to be friends with Mc after hearing mc’s feelings. He was doing fine until the hospital incident where he keeps getting between Mc and ml even though he’s fully aware it’s the blonde guy that did it, and also asked for help from ml to find Mc.

If you want a refresher in detail, I’ll just leave the chapters of minwoo’s previous actions. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying ml is an angel either, just saying minwoo isn’t as sweet as everyone wants to believe. Both love interests aren’t green flags. I also think mc is annoying and dumb too. I personally do think mc should not have been friends with minwoo anymore so they can finally be independent from each other.
Chapter 34: proves he did not think mc was getting assaulted. He clearly states the reason why he beat ml up saying “how could you guys do that at school where everyone could see.” After mc blows up after getting tired of his nonsense, minwoo admits that he’s been obsessive over mc.
Chapter 24: side character tells minwoo ml isn’t the type to force someone against their will. Minwoo replies “this would’ve ended a lot quicker if he was.” Showing he didn’t actually think ml did anything bad to mc.
Chapter 25: where he tries to mark mc.
Chapter 22: minwoo monitors mc and tries to prevent mc from leaving the house
Chapter 21: minwoo warns him and tries to tell him what to do “for his sake.”
Chapter 17:he kisses mc in his sleep.
Tbh I just want minwoo to find someone else, get in a healthy relationship, cus ik hes a good guy, but his being a "guard dog" for so long is not only ruining him but Mc as well.

This actually really sucks like the main characters sucked, the romance was bland af, I actually really disliked the ML, after a certain point I was just reading to see what would happen to the ex fiancee who for some reason....I liked more than the ML
