So how did the first timeline end up, did ML stay married to concubine, did he actually fail and the evil church won, did he give even the slightest shit about MC dying, what happened to the concubine in the OG did she betray ML, did ML die?? Do we know anything??
I'm either going to fault that it was an unreliable narrator or that they did some voodoo magic on him? Therefore brainwashing him? ok so here’s some spoilers from the novel about the first timeline
- in the first timeline the priest almost destroyed the world and fought with the ML before the god of this world turned back time and brought FL into the picture
- the high priest is actually the god of darkness or something similar and he killed real priest and took over his body
- the fake priest remembers the first timeline, so he believes if he does the same things as before he will win, BUTT unknown variable, AKA FL comes in
- the only one who can kill the priest is the FL because to kill him you need to destroy his core, but only someone from a different world can do that

That's what I'm saying tho in a fictional story enjoy murder, abuse, whatever the hell it is you should be able to just read it, it's not real, it's a book, when your showing behavior romanticizing that shit with real people actually going through stuff like that or try to act out this shit with real people that's when I think it's a problem.
