i think the author knows exactly what she did here yall. you guys are like "hmm the way the characters were talking about the trans girl at the beginning was kinda iffy" when that's... actually the point. you think a different conversation between those guys would've been more realistic? lmao. they're our characters, yes, but clearly they aren't in touch with trans people and their experiences, so among themselves they will speak on them in whichever way is natural to them. they're wrong, yes, but it's kinda naive to think those conversations don't happen CONSTANTLY irl, especially among even men in that kind of environment

I agree with your take — I honestly think that it adds to the characterization of the cast. These two men are introduced to us as well meaning guys — a dad that’s working for his daughter and a dude that takes care of his bf’s mom — but also they’re still regular ass men who don’t really know a lot about social issues. We know they’re not bad people, but even decent folk end up saying ignorant things they don’t really mean or even understand were wrong. I like honesty like how the author handled characters like that.

woojin x taesoo who's with me

100% correct but i feel like woojin the only person on this earth capable of fixing that man and turn him into the 2nd coming of jesus i really don't think woojin would put up with any of his bs and that's exactly what taesoo needs. seeing him getting slapped with reality checks until he turns into a quiet pile of mush would be so satisfying like i already have the whole plot in my head

i forgot the chapter too but i can tell you yitae appear in flashback when woojin and hoin in highschool (i think its on chapter >50), when woojin call hoin wants to reconcile (its after the flashback so maybe chapter <60), and also in the side story where woojin said he got a plan with yitae (but he’s not appear). he only appear verryyy little but imssoooooo exiciting for what happened between yitae and woojin
i couldn't care less about this guy's story tbh and the way they suddenly halt the main couple's story is extremely off-putting yall can't just jump to a secondary couple like that without even wrapping up the main one
They aren't even a secondary couple but tertiary because the brother and his bf are the second couple. I think this is a tangent story to show how sex workers face rejection but its awkward timing in the middle of the plot.
