This has been eating at me alive for months.
Can someone please tell me which chapter it was where it went to a flashback of Misaki when he was a kid and he wanted to make his onii-chan happy no matter what so he decided to cook him dinner but instead made a huge mess. Takahiro got upset and told Misaki that making a mess was problematic and it made Misaki cry.
But Takahiro found the notebook Misaki had been writing in and he found the words "make onii-chan happy no matter what" and then he started crying and he even ate the burned food Misaki had cooked.

Now don't start bashing me, but I think this could've been extended a bit longer.
Instead of Nagi finding out about Hijiri being reborn right then and there I think that it would've added more emotion and angst if Nagi found out AFTER Hijiri had been reborn. And maybe when Hijiri was reborn, Nagi (while still being Takatsugu's Protection Spirit) would fly over to catch glimpse's of Hijiri while he was growing up.
And then one day Hijiri as a high school student, looking the way he is now in the manga, would get into an accident and die. And the first thing he sees when he wakes up when he crosses over is Nagi :)
And then all of his memories as Karin's Protection Spirit and being Nagi's lover suddenly flow into him and he remembers everything and they kiss and embrace and kittens and sunshine everywhere!

I'm not morbid. I just think it'd play out more exciting this way. Besides, as a Protection Spirit Hijiri has already died once. And Nagi is already stripped of his title as a Protection God even though I kept the powers; I don't think he could pull any strings. Even Saku has limits too.
I just think as Protection Spirits they could have all the time in the world seeing as how they aren't alive.

I love it

I have a feeling that Gou didn't really truly love Chika; at least romantically. Sure they kissed but not once in the time that they were going out did they ever have sex. Chika even offered for Gou to spend the night so they could have sex but Gou instantly turned him down saying that he could never do that with Chika, at least not then.
I think Gou mostly idolized Chika in a way like some sort of sacred treasure. He didn't want to dirty or sully him. Just make him happy.
I really love the first story :)
BUT I FUCKING HATE SHUU (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
That sneaky little bitch just waltz's in on Ichijou-san and Hiro-tan's perfect happy life and crushes it when he finds out about their relationship.
And I fucking hate how the fact that Shuu was never reprimended for kicking out Hiro-tan.
He tricked Mamoru-kun into eating shitty food (made by a shitty person), making the poor little baby think that it'll bring back Hiro-tan when that's obviously not the case at all.
When Ichijou-san came back Shuu tried covering up what he did by blatantly leaving out that he fired Hiro. And stupid Ichijou-san was so overwhelmed by the fact that Hiro "left" that he never bothered to listen to Hiro when he tried explaining that that fucker, Shuu, fired him.
And when all's said and done, he just ups and leaves and suddenly everything's ok and it somehow never happened.
If it were me I would've beat the shit outta Shuu right then and there.
i agree hate his younger brother it had to take a missing child to see them happy to accept the outcome
Same I hate shuu too
I don't mind that Shuu was being an ass. Typical brother complex/hypocrite. What I was pissed at was that Ichijou-san never listened to Hiro's side of the story and wasn't punished for what he did.
"shitty food(made by a shitty person)" Wise words!! xD
I hate Shuu the most and wanted to beat him up(actually I was expecting Ichijou to do it after he found out... but never happened :/)
