Let's be honest though, most anime adaptions are pretty poor. The art style doesn't always transfer easy to that medium and is usually heavily censored, which in the case of Ten Count ( which deals with some pretty controversial aspects such as a student x teacher, a minor being sexually active, Kurose jumping on the author and licking his face, as well as using sex as exposure therapy ) probably would get cut, meaning the plot will lose most of it's meaning as to why Tadaomi developed such a trauma. If it simply shows him having anxiety and going through the "10 count" list, it's going to come off as quite shallow.
Maybe I'm basing this on the Junjou Romantica (spelling?) series which was heavily censored when it went to anime, and the art style just looked crap.
OMG I CANT! ITS SO AWESOME, THE AUTHOR USED GUANG XIANG AND THIS! OMG!!!!!
(I'm probably stupid....)
