as someone who had also lost my brightest star (my adoptive mom) on one random friday when i was happily doing something, life just forcibly snatched a big part of my soul away when i heard she passed and i didn't even dare to touch her cold body before the funeral. i refused to believe she's left me for a long long time. it's been almost 10 years since then, and i still reach out my hand up to the sky in hope to reach the stars she's shining upon me with, just like Ruby Hoshino does in the last panel. we can't reach them, but at least the palm our hands are arms-length closer to them and sometimes that's enough to keep us going, living for their sake.
i'm extremely upset that Aqua died, but i can't be so mad either since that's a very Aqua-like ending for him. just bc he feels hopefull to finally live a good life, doesn't change the fact that he's willing to go far to protect his loved ones. it's realistic how he wavered a bit and he might actually had a chance to stay alive if he wanted to, but he didn't. we're sad about his death bc we know that he didn't get to do so many things he deserved yet, but that's what WE want to see. for Aqua, all of those things didn't matter to him compared to protecting Ruby. in the end, that was how Aqua shows his love. he's just like Ai.

this is soooo good!!! early chapters were quite frustrating but i'm really glad i didn't drop it. i stayed to see Robert at first but all the characters are amazing to the end, except for the true villains (second prince Jacob's mother who r*ped king, count davoville's mother who tormented and made her own young child drink booze for entertainment, and zachary's older brother who casted him out 2 days after their dad passed away) i have absolutely no positive thoughts for them and i wish them hell.
this is the very first time i'm not annoyed by the romance and i even love ALL the couples, they're lovely. they represented many types of love i personally relate to the davovilles so much. ALSO the sneek peek of the kids in the future was sooo cool! i wish i can see Robert's kids too... i love him so much.
if i need to thank one thing to this story, it was to show me Robert i literally took screenshot of every panels he ever appeared on i'm so down bad for him you guys it's incurable

i totally did not expect the story to become as intriguing as this the borderline shounen ai with cedric and disney princess core with the divine animals are so fun to see. the slight mysteries keep the curiosity going pretty well too. and the only damsel in distress most of the time is prince jesse, i live for it!! he deserves all the good things in both worlds he's ever been in

the plot is soooooo good. i love that there are so many strong characters and even some stronger ones compared to the MC. it highlights his growth. i love it when it's not just one day i became OP kind of story. the romance is soooo cute too, it doesn't bother me at all. probably bc it's not a harem as well and the FL is strong af. so glad i binged this
