I get that possessive ml is a popular trope but I find it sad. His only real connection is with the FL. No friends, no other people he genuinely likes, not even family. His motivations, actions, thoughts, etc are all influenced by his desire for the FL. Obviously this is fictional and people irl aren't like this but it's still sad. I feel if he wasn't so one dimensional I would actually like him. As it stands though he's just a one sentence character who could be replaced with literally anyone.

The story is all over the place. We got little in terms of the overall plot until halfway through and then everything was rushed at once. There were little connections and the transitions were handled poorly. The FLs main motivation literally disappears in chapter 1 and we don't hear about it again unless it's a throwaway comment. Not to mention the lost potential in these characters, especially the FL. Why is she Shakespeare?? She had the potion thing going and even made some very powerful and I assume never before seen potions. What happened to that? A lot of things such as characters and plot points are hastily and briefly introduced or completely swept under the rug and dug up again several chapters later when they need to progress the story. Overall a very messy read and I'm not even going to mention Felix literally changing skin tone when he merged with the devil, even though the devil didn't have dark skin himself.
It feels as if the author had more chapters in mind and started slow but for whatever reason changed their mind and decided to rush everything on the second half.
The saving grace for this manga is the relationship between the two leads. Their romance was handled pretty well in comparison to literally everything else and Felixs/ Lerrys character arc, even though small, was also done nicely.
Overall, 3/5 not overly offensive but it wasn't that good either.

I really like this manga but I feel it lost the plot a little bit. It had a fresh concept. The latest chapters are very tropey, with the mom pulling the classic 'break up with my son here's some money'. I also miss Kaorus more playful side from the first few chapters. All of that to say I still give this 5 stars it's a great manga and I love this creator. :)

Nope I'm dropping this. The mangaka knowingly made the choice to have a, not even in puberty, foster child fall in love with their parent. They magic explain it like she still is an adult in that 10yo body but why though. Why is that your choice... Feels icky

I need something else to fill the gap, any suggestions?
