ok i forgot, can someone remind me the reason why this whole kidnapping thing happened? or the chapter the reason was revealed?

It's basically revenge from the kidnapper's (the seme) part. He fell HARD for the MC (the uke) during their high school days, but because the MC was an asshole and didn't have feelings for the kidnapper anymore, the kidnapper began to hate him and became psychotic. He wanted to go back to those days he was happy with MC, so after some years, kidnapper comes and makes the MC go through everything he did during high school as revenge. He rapes him, humiliates him and plans to kill MC on the same day MC dumped him after toying with him. Unfortunately, two guys ruin the plan and MC becomes broken because he realizes he's a jerk that no one loves and cares about, so he doesn't care if he dies anymore. Again, unfortunately, kidnapper realizes this and is freaking out because old feelings are resurfacing and he doesn't want MC to become like this and wants to fix it. PHEW! Got it, I think.

Wait what, where did even the murder part come in? Plus the mc didn't rape the kidnapper when they were younger. You can make the point that he pressured the guy but other than that no. You could say it's revenge but it's pretty goddamned clear that the guy is mentally unstable and doesn't realize what he really wants. Even in the few chapters (before the year-long break - cuz of copyrights) it was shown pretty clearly that the kidnapper was having issues and most likely didn't fully understand why he did what he did.
Am I missing something? I read this story so many times during the issues with the company the author worked for. I checked the manga weekly to see if there were any updates. I have no idea what I am missing if I am missing/ missunderstanding something.

The murder part came in from MC's POV. He saw the calendar and saw the circled day and remembered that that's the day he dumped the kidnapper. So he think that that's the day he's gonna die (because obviously the kidnapper isn't going to just let him go).
I said the kidnapper raped the MC. It's kinda hard to tell, huh? I agree that because the kidnapper wanted to stay with MC, he did whatever the MC told him, but in their adult times, that was rape alright.
Well, in my POV, the fact that he's hurting the MC seems enough like revenge and retaliation to me. Payback for all the hurt by hurting MC.

I don't think Dohyun ever thought he was going to get killed. At least not that I can remember. He didn't know what happened on the last few days because the diary was blank but he remembered Sungho's crying face.
I'm pretty sure the reason he gave in and stopped fighting when Sungho was raping him, was because he thought Sungho was only going to rape him 19 times, and after that would let him go. If you read chapter 41 Dohyun says 'you said you'd let me go once I remembered everything'

Well, he didn't remember that part at the time. He just saw a date with a circle and figured out that something must happen. He doesn't know that he will be killed. No one knows what that date means.
Well, no. That wasn't rape. You could say that the guy pressured the other guy but that's already stretching it a bit. Sure after the relationship ended the kidnapper did end up blaming the guy but it's shown (forgot which chapter) that he knows that he made those decisions. All the guy did was being cold to him.
What do you mean by adult times? They were still in school. The rape part only comes in after the kidnapping. Are you refering to that?
We could say that it's revenge in that aspect. I will agree with that. But I would also like to add that there is more than just the idea of revenge. The kidnapper isn't mentally stable. He doesn't really know why he is doing what he is doing.
God hetian is such a gem
