Just found out their names are Hyunwoon and Haneul on twitter.. although Cirrus and Skylar appear to be more well known
Haneul makes sense since it means sky in Korean. I wonder if Hyunwoo means a type of cloud like Cirrus does in English?
I am not sure but Hyun means â Worthy; Virtuous; Wise; Dark, mysteriousâ And the Woo part means â endeavor, exert, struggleâ.

Yep! Skylar and Cirrus is the names used internationally I think since they also use it in the Italian translation
They did this to make it more obvious what the relationship are between the two characters and the story
Hyunwoo means cloud and they chose Cirrus cause its a type of cloud
Haneul means sky and so the name Skylar was born
(For a bonus - Chanil means Sun but they dudnt choose to translate it since Cirrus and Skylar are the main two and plus the story is about them)
There are many interpretations of the story and what their names mean in their relationship (plus the story as well)
One of my favs is the title correlation
"Lost in the Cloud" is Cirrus impact on Skylar
And the opposite
"Found in the Sky" is Skylar's impact on Cirrus
