Ikr!!! Its frustrating thy just stood thr waiting to be chained!!!

Yeah that was a trainwreck of a plot development. I despise it when female characters are infantilized (“cute” behavior, pettiness, the unnecessary princess carry, manic pixie dream girl bs, etc…). Just ridiculous, and completely skated by how emotionally coercive Rutger was about Briana’s conception. He knows the kid, his kid is trapped in spirit form until she can be conceived, which is only possible between Leoni and Rutger, and his response was basically “I won’t sleep with you unless I think you’re in love with me” which basically means “our kid will continue to suffer in limbo unless you enter a relationship with me and I am convinced you love me enough”

She wasn’t magically lobotomized. If you read the last few chaps it’s because of her daughter

It doesn’t matter why she’s like that, we’re pissed off that it’s an idiotic and nonsensical plot development that adds nothing to the story

Your complaints are erratic and all over the place. Allow me to be your manhwa doctor for this title because this is the internet this alone makes me beyond qualified. Stop reading and touch some grass. A fictional story shouldn’t draw this much “piss” out of you. Plus you’re reading it for free so there’s that…

The reason we’re so annoyed is because the story up until this point has been really well written and developed. If it had been mid from the start, nobody would be complaining because they would have either left or gotten used to it by now

She kinda was, the beginning of the off behavior (her fawning over him) was because of Rutger's magic infusion thing to save her, in the end she was pretending, AFTER she went to see her son the second time, and now she is agreeing with a relationship not because she was oh so in love before, but because she wants her baby, there was no point in the plot where they actually fall in love organically.
And answering all the comments at once, I don't think Rutger is actively trying to coerce her, but in the end of the day its what he is doing.
Please explain, what did I say that was erratic?
Also, the touch grass comment is a little much for me not liking a random manhwa plot, maybe you should take your own advice to heart and come outside, back to the human world, where I am aloud to have my own opinions.
Repeat after me, just because someone don't agree with you, doesn't mean they are radicals and need a reality check.
I honestly don't care if you like this story, good for you, just don't be impolite and aggressive with people who don't agree.

A detail you missed was that I replied to Witchery’s comment not yours to be precise. The only part of your post that I addressed was that I didn't agree with your lobotomy comment because it seemed more exaggerated than how I perceived her new behavior to be. After the explanation about her daughter’s soul hanging around and eager to be born, Leoni’s actual self was still in a coma. I understood it as Rutger’s magic inadvertently allowed their daughter’s soul to possess Leoni’s body thus preventing Leoni from dying. You can think of it as their daughter’s spirit was keeping her mother’s body operational for her until she came back if you will.

In any case you guys are funny to be this bothered about a fictional fantasy manhwa. It is not real nor any of the components close to being believable. In fact for any fantasy story to be enjoyed you MUST suspend disbelief. But if that’s too hard for you to do and up you still find yourself bothered, then I also prescribe you some grass to touch. An unlimited supply…. You’re welcome

Btw the ‘infantilized cute” behavior you are speaking of is not Leoni but of her actual child’s (as in baby or toddler or a mental state that has yet to develop emotionally) soul inhabiting Leoni

Suspension of disbelief means not arguing about how unrealistic the concept of magic is, not being unable to dislike specific plot developments. And again, I don’t care why she was acting like that, my point was that I found it to be a stupid and annoying development. There were plenty of other ways to express severe side effects of magic or artificially force a stale relationship along. It is merely my OPINION that this plot sequence was not up to the standards previously set by the comic in terms of character growth, relationship development, and plot intricacy. I think you’re the one who is way too pressed about people having, gasp, clutches pearls….negative opinions about one specific aspect of an otherwise pretty good comic.

Allow me to summarize what I’ve said thus far. Chill out. It’s just a story you’re reading for free but I accept that you are eager to criticize this writer’s hard work that you have not paid for and refuse to hear a rebuttal of your criticisms. Life is hard

Quite frankly, I disagree. The one doing the coerciveness is female OP. She's been pretty manipulative up until this point.

Rutger is completely in his right to want the woman he LOVES to love HIM back. Instead of her just wanting to have sex with him just for the sake of bringing her daughter to the world.

Jesus, WE KNOW IS JUST A STORY, we are not saying that the author is horrible, we just don't like a SPECIFIC PIECE of the story.
You are also not paying to read this, WE ARE ALLOWED TO DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, we heard your rebuttal, we just don't agree, and that is fine.
My problem with you is NOT that we disagree, is that you keep being really disrespectful and annoying about it.

Ikr im so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that way. This manhwa had me hooked but when THAT happened... i was so disappointed

While I agree the development was out of left field and didn't really fit how the rest of the story was written, it did serve a purpose. It caused some enemies to underestimate her at an opportune time.

To me it read like the author was wracking his brain over how he could have Leoni be victorious over those enemies, and out of desperation eventually went with...a VERY convenient and not befitting the writing development.

It doesn't ruin the story for me, but it does stand out as a section of sub-par writing in an overall interesting story.

The little brother I’m pretty sure it’s just because he had two people yelling at him that he agreed to it, though he was showing hesitation.
Plus now she’s gonna use dark magic on him to make him more of a pawn, which is unfortunate.
