The way it's been nothing but small stuff and then in one chapter we suddenly find out the creator of their system, that other planets and extraterrestrial humans exist and that the world is basically gonna end. What happened to pacing

For everyone saying they'll drop or that it's dumb bc he's spent so much time in forest has clearly never read other revenge stories bc when do they ever actually do purely revenge, that's a really weak story concept and if an author actually pursued only that it would eventually get really boring so either drop and shut up or accept that what makes a plotline Like this good is the fact it doesn't stick to just one thing, ignore all new characters, or "weaken" the MC just bc he develops a personality or actually realises the second chance can make them actually be happy

I mean the whole point of the story is mainly focused on horror/psychological lol. You don't have to like the genre but u gotta understand that this wasn't supposed to be fluffy at all so considering that, it was a pretty good story
