The pacing feels off. There wasn’t enough buildup between the characters to make the sex scenes feel earned—it all felt a bit rushed. It’s a shame, because the story itself seems interesting, and the art is amazing, but the writing just doesn’t deliver
MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY. the entire first few chapters went by so fast, and the plot feels like it's missing some noteable things. i like the characters, but even then they miss out on that building aspect that it all feels kinda dull

I think the whole point of Jaekyung’s behavior is that he actually doesn’t love himself—he treats Kim Dan the same way he would treat himself, without empathy. Even though I was a huge hater until this chapter, something changed in my perspective because I realized that Jaekyung was never obligated to be good to Kim Dan.He was always a piece of shit. From the very beginning, we knew what kind of person he was. The bigger issue is that Kim Dan ended up liking him despite that, because how broken he was. After this chapter, I definitely see that Mingwa intended to create Jaekyung as someone who doesn’t feel love for anyone, and I’m honestly curious to see how he’ll treat Kim Dan when he actually realises that he fell for him.

I have read a lot of toxic BLs, and I don’t mind as long as they’re interesting and keep me engaged. This is just awful. I know Kim Dan is in a sad situation from the start, but he just doesn’t bring character to this story. They have no chemistry, the sex is boring and mechanical, horseface is an idiot—so dumb and annoying with zero emotional intelligence. It’s just not fun to read anymore; the story is going nowhere.
It never did. This character is so terribly flat, with only anger I one expression. By now I'm just waiting to see what a poor excuse the author will come up with to make ML 'in love'. It's a bad writing, that's all.
