I’ve seen the raws, and even after 12 chapters, he still doesn’t get it. He has a completely different body, and Kara kinda thinks it’s him, but he can’t figure out that he at least looks the same as he did as a child and has the same vibe, just with a different eye color??? Why is he suddenly portrayed as a dumb little twink? I love the story sooo much, but I just don’t get it.

I think it's more because he can't shake off the image of karas he made up in his mind being fragile and needing help also might be that for us he karas looks similar to his child form because of how the artist drew them
My problem with this story is that the characters are too one-dimensional, and the plot is quite predictable. For example, Jiwon was a much better-developed character, and in BJ Alex, there was at least an element of comedy—the characters were cheekier, and even the second couple was much more interesting and exciting. I actually don’t mind toxic stories as long as the characters are mentally stimulating, sexy, and have some edge.It’s not enoug for a character to just be toxic in the stupidest way and then have a redemption arc… Her writing has declined so much, while the art became immaculate. It’s a shame—this story had the potential to be much better with this plot.
i'm not here to argue so i hope it doesn't come off that way but this is interesting because i'm the opposite- to me this is lowkey an improvement over bj alex. maybe it's my memory failing me but i found jiwon so whatever and i'm not the biggest fan of this story or jaekyung either but i find him at least more consistent and it's fun to try to figure out what the fuck is wrong with him. and i guess DG had more of a spine / felt more believable of a guy than dan who's super selfless but then again dan had his own unique goals no matter how generic while dg had too little else going on (again, iirc). very much agreed about the superior second couple though. this jinx one felt a bit too pair-the spares-y even though i like potato and pretty tops on paper
I still like Jinx, like i will read it obv, but it doesn’t intrigue me, and the sex scenes are not sensual more like fwop fwop.And Bj Alex is def not the best i read, idk i’m just a sucker for more psychological plots if its toxic.Buuut i’m also a sucker for Mingwa’s art haha
