They are highly resistant to pheromones and can't turn into omegas as long as they regularly shower and clean themselves. Only exposure to extremely high concentration of pheromones for a long duration of time can convert an gamma into an omega. It is life threatening for a gamma to differentiate into an omega. Most of them don't survive. The miller grandparents, are a pair of alpha and a gamma turned omega
